About Us

Welcome! My name is Dawn Cooper and I am the owner and operator of The Dog House Pet Salon in Brighton. I have been grooming for more than 10 years and opened The Dog House in 2004. We pride ourselves on providing a pleasant, clean atmosphere where your pets will be well cared for.

In 1997 I graduated from the Academy of Animal Arts Grooming School in Dearborn Heights, Michigan. After graduating I worked as a groomer for Wag N'Tails in Howell, Michigan. In 2001 I moved to EnVogue Pet Grooming in Brighton. In addition to grooming at EnVogue I was employed at Westland Veterinary Hospital as a Veterinary Technician.
